The Future of Fun - Three Entertainment
Revolutions
Game Yarouze is a Game Design Contest held by Sony Computer Entertainment. It
was held in Japan, but I decided to give it a go anyway and see how far my
designs can go - then I was invited to go to Sony in Japan to present these
ideas to Sony Designers. They seemed to love the ideas but they did not
adopt the designs for confidential reasons. (Lead Designer : John@AARIVE)

Unlish - setting
free our body and soul. The form is a re-assemble of the pieces of a
parallelogram prism. Flat, horizontal seats were achievable because of the
accurate calculation of the angles on each slice. |
|
A Free Form Design
This Chair Design Competition was organized by Melbourne Central Shopping
Complex and RAIA (The Royal Australian Institute of Architects). The concept of
'unleashing ourselves (in the shopping complex)' was carried throughout the
design process to the final form. (Lead Designer : John@AARIVE)

Hairy.graphy is a
calligraphy brush with bristles covering all along the handle. You can
hold the rawness and texture of the material that you're actually writing
with. The bristles on the handle provides better grip and absorbs sweats
as well as being soft & comfortable. It also provides new ways to draw ink
on paper. |
|
An Organic Oriental Design
Kokuyo's Product Design Competition is one of Japan's largest contest which
invites entries from all over the world. The theme of 2006 was a Japanese
Character which means "Elements" or "Origin". Hairy.graphy is a playful effort
to bring the art of calligraphy to a new generation of audience. (Lead
